A Cinderella Dream...

Somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high
And the dreams that you dreamed of
Once in a lullaby

Somewhere over the rainbow
Blue birds fly
And the dreams that you dreamed of
Dreams really do come true ooh oh

Someday I'll wish upon a star
Wake up where the clouds are far behind me
Where trouble melts like lemon drops
High above the chimney top
That's where you'll find me

Oh, somewhere over the rainbow bluebirds fly
And the dream that you dare to,
Oh why, oh why can't I?

Oh, somewhere over the rainbow way up high
And the dream that you dare to, why, oh why can't I?

    1. Natalie,
Aren't they stunning? Blue just makes me feel so stirringly joyful and peaceful at the same time! My daddy asked why I chose blue and I said it just was that, and I never even thought of doing another color. :)

    2. Eowyn,
Oh same here. :) I've read that blue is a "calming" color and I am in total agreement. I love a lot of shades of blue, but my very favorite is light, aqua tones. Hence, I have many items of clothing in that color-and I don't mind at all. It makes me happy. :)

    3. Natalie,
I can well believe it (that's a quote from something, I know, but I can't recollect where :)). Cobalt has always been my favorite and as it is my best color to wear I really should make more clothes in it, but ANYWAY... lately I've also been falling in love with all the other shades of it, too - green blue (like her skirt, that skirt just sends ripples of joy all over me and turquoise is very near the top, too. :)

    1. Olivia,
Hooray! I recently decided it would make a lovely bridal march and now (whenever it starts playing) I actually practice "walking down the aisle", which has added yet another layer of fun to the song for me. :)
