A Scrap of Valentine!

Here it is—my Valentine’s Gift to you all! And oh, am I excited about it! Of all my stories I have finished, for one reason and another the events and imaginings in this one are particularly close to me and I am super happy about sharing it with all of you, my lovely readers! I wrote it in a fit of sentiment last year and it was simply too new to post then, but now, after a year of waiting, I feel it is ready—in all its fresh sweetness with all the romance intact. I hope you enjoy it and do make sure to tell me what you think!

    1. Happy Valentines Day to you, Natalie! This comment came when I was having a rather tense afternoon with a great deal to do, so the bit of sunshine was especially lovely! I will be eagerly awaiting your report. :)

    2. Aw, I'm glad my comment was helpful! :)
I read your story last night and it was soooo lovely! You have such a talent with words! I must confess it took me a bit to catch on to what was happening (since it felt like I jumped into the middle of the story) but once I did it was fantastic! Have you ever considered expanding your story into a whole book? :)

    3. Natalie,
Thank you so much for the feedback! I totally confess to jumping into the story. :) You see it's an ongoing story in my head that I often imagine scenes and episodes for, but hardly ever write down. This was one of those rare cases where I did, but I rather forgot that most everyone else might be a little confused at first. :) It is actually part of a collection of short stories I hope to write some day ( Love Comes With a Crash is the other I have written), so if I ever finish the collection I will most likely take time to fill it out more!

    4. Eowyn,
I'm so terribly sorry for responding so late. I meant to but I got busy and the email was lost in my inbox for a few days. :(
Oh! A collection of short stories sounds marvelous! I'd love to read them some day. Haha, I know what it's like to have continuous stories imagined in your head. I always try to write them down though, because I'm afraid I'll forget them . :)
I received your letter a couple days ago! I'm so excited to write a long letter back to you! :) Your letters make me so happy!

    5. Natalie,
Don't fret about it! I have a horrible habit when it comes to responding to comments. :)

Oh, and I try to write them down, too, but sometimes I feel they are much too sentimental to be written down on paper. I should probably attempt to get over that problem though and write them anyway!

I'm glad to hear you got my letter! I love receiving yours too!!! :)
